Barb's Savory Crockpot Beef Roast With Noodles

Notes about recipe: This roast recipe makes a delicious gravy/sauce. If the sauce has not thickened from the flour you can take out about a 1/2 cup sauce and add about 2 TBSP of cornstarch to the mixture and then add back into the crockpot and it will thicken up. Coat your egg noodles with this sauce and then shred your beef and add sauted onions and or mushrooms to the dish.
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 10-11 ounce Cream of Chicken Soup (can use golden mushroom also)
1 1/4 Cups Water
1/2 Cup White Wine
1 Beef Bouillon Cube
5 1/2 lbs Pot Roast
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 TBSP Garlic Powder
1/2 Cup Flour
*See optional ingredients below*
1. Add Water,Wine,soup and bouillon to crockpot
2. Season Roast with Salt & Pepper to taste.
3. Season Roast with Garlic Powder.
4. Roll Roast in Flour to Coat
5. Add Roast to Crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hrs or until done.
Serve with Egg Noodles.
Optional: Saute Onions and or mushrooms in butter & season with salt & pepper
and add to dish when serving.
