.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Unsalted Butter (2 sticks)
1 Cup White Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 1/2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips (You can use Semi-Sweet)

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, 1/2 tsp salt, white sugar and
brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Sift in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, 1 tsp salt and cocoa powder; mix well.
Stir in the chocolate chips. Roll tablespoonfuls of dough into balls
and place them one inch apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.

3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool
on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
(usually they bake in 8 minutes in my gas oven)
